Account Registration
The first step to getting paid with Payoneer is registering for an account. The process is simple and only takes a few minutes. For a step-by-step guide, have a look at the video below:Identity Verification
After completing the registration process, you’ll receive an email asking you to provide information to help us verify your identity and profession. We do this to help secure our payment ecosystem while ensuring a smooth payment flow. To submit the required information, go to Receive > Request a Payment You’ll be required to supply the following documents:- A government-issued ID. Additionally, we might also request a proof-of-address document. A few tips before supplying these documents:
- Upload a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID. A national ID card, passport or driver’s license are all valid.
- Make sure your ID hasn’t expired.
- Make sure you upload copies of both sides of your ID.
- The image of your ID must be clear, with no obstructions (such as your fingers).
- A color copy is preferable to black and white.
- Scanned images of your ID are preferable to pictures. If you take a picture with a camera or phone, make sure that the picture is straight and do not use a flash.
- JPG/PNG are the preferred file types. Do not convert the file to PDF.
- To verify your profession, we typically request that you provide information about your work, including previous jobs and a link to your professional website/social media pages.
A few tips before supplying this information:
- It’s important that you provide a website URL that accurately shows your professional activity.
- The URL must lead to an active website – not one that is temporarily down or under construction.
- If you do not have an operational website or professional social media profile, please make sure to describe how you operate and how customers reach you.
Receiving Your Payments
Once you submit the relevant documents, we will inform anyone wishing to make a payment to your Payoneer account that they can now complete the transaction. In some cases, depending on the payment amount, we might review the request before loading the payment. This can take up to three business days. After your payment is sent, you’ll receive an email detailing when you can expect to see it in your account. Once delivered, the funds will be shown in your Payoneer balance. So, what now?
