The Challenge

Mirakl’s challenge was to embed a global payouts infrastructure into its platform that would meet the highest standards of compliance and user experience, while allowing users to maintain their existing pay-in provider relationships. Mirakl sought to further elevate its marketplace offering by integrating a seamless, compliant, and fully branded payout solution within its platform.

The Solution 

By integrating Payoneer’s global Mass Payout technology, Mirakl offers a scalable, compliant, and unified payout experience for its marketplaces and their sellers.

  • Embedded onboarding and payout experience: Mirakl Payout, an in-platform payout solution for marketplaces, deployed Payoneer’s APIs to help sellers sign up and get verified for payouts. The integrated experience keeps the Mirakl brand front and center, while Payoneer manages all of the backend operations.
  • Integrated and compliant global payment infrastructure: Payoneer’s robust compliance processes were embedded into the solution. All funding, currency conversion, and payout execution are handled by Payoneer, allowing Mirakl Payout to act as the compliant technical service provider.
  • Scalable architecture: Each marketplace operator that enabled the feature was set up with a dedicated Payoneer structure, allowing tailored reporting and control per client. Mirakl can onboard new marketplace operators into the Payout program seamlessly, requiring minimal configuration and support, thanks to this repeatable integration model.

  • Scalable Global Reach: Mirakl Payout supports retailers and B2B businesses of all sizes worldwide enabling them to maintain existing pay-in provider relationships while processing over $470 million annually.
