As a Technical Integration Specialist, you will help merchants successfully integrate, launch, and operate Payoneer Checkout as well as being responsible for second level support. You will work closely with merchants, developers, and internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues, support API and plugin integrations, and ensure a seamless payment experience. You will play a key role in merchant integration, technical problem resolution, and ongoing operational support across the Payoneer Checkout platform
What you’ll do
- Support merchants during the integration phase and go live with Payoneer Checkout (API, SDK, webhook, payment flow design)
- Trouble shoot and resolve payment gateway, API, plugin and checkout related issues
- Assist merchants with API integrations, webhooks and platform configurations
- Analyze transaction flows and payment issues to identify root causes and provide possible solutions or escalations
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Customer Success teams to resolve complex technical cases
- Support product feature rollouts, and operational initiatives
- Ensure timely communication and resolution of merchant and internal team inquiries and escalations
- Provide seamless communication across different teams during incident handling
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, CORS, cookies, JSON/XML)
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Customer centric mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to support critical incidents outside of standard business hours when required
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
What could set you apart
- Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce or payment gateway support
- Familiarity with platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify or custom e-commerce solutions
- Experience integrating payment solutions such as Stripe, Klarna, Paypal
- Knowledge of payment processing, transaction lifecycles and merchant onboarding
- Experience with frontend debugging (e.g., stripe.js, SDK integration issues)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools or data analysis tools
