oDesk
More and more software developers and technology freelancers are working for overseas companies, taking advantage of better pay and more opportunities than are typically available in their local markets," said Gary Swart, chief executive officer of oDesk. "By offering the new oDesk prepaid Debit MasterCard, we're giving our providers a faster, simpler and more secure way to access their earnings and we hope to continue to encourage them to look beyond the horizon for exciting job opportunities.

Integration:
Integration was easy. Payoneer handled the integration with oDesk’s payment processing system within a few days, with no interruption to oDesk’s business activities.

Payoneer provided oDesk with a customized website and fully intergraded API allowing oDesk providers to sign up for their oDesk Prepaid MasterCard cards from an oDesk branded webpage. Providers check their card accounts and perform transactions online. Card account web pages and service emails are also oDesk-branded.

oDesk was the first outsourcing web-based company to offer the Payoneer payment method to its service providers

Why Payoneer?:
oDesk has more than 164,000 providers outside the U.S. Accessing their payments was an issue for the international providers. High wire transfer fees, delayed processing, and lengthy bank hold times on paper checks were all obstacles that oDesk wished to eliminate. A new low-cost method for accessing earned funds was critical to improving the oDesk’s international provider’s experience and bottom line.

Results:
Fast, easy and cost-effective, Payoneer is the leading payment method among oDesk’s international providers today.
