About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Product Manager to join Payoneer's Data Product Unit - the central hub for data product management across the company. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated squad responsible for data products serving the Finance organization, working closely with Finance stakeholders to design and deliver data products that support operational financial capabilities, book closing processes, regulatory reporting, and analytical needs.

You will lead the data product lifecycle end-to-end - from understanding business and regulatory challenges, defining analytical and operational needs, through designing scalable data models and assets, to delivering high-quality data products that empower the Finance organization.

As part of a globally distributed Finance Data Squad, you will collaborate closely with team members across multiple locations worldwide, as well as with the BI developers based alongside you in India. This role is ideal for a product-minded, business-oriented data person who is both strategic and hands-on, and who thrives on connecting complex financial business goals with technical execution.

What You'II Do:

  • Own and drive your data product items within the Finance squad roadmap, aligned with strategic business goals, regulatory requirements, and SLA commitments - actively contributing to the squad's shared priorities and delivery goals.
  • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand data needs, define and prioritize use cases, and develop solutions that improve data accessibility and usability.
  • Translate business and regulatory objectives into clear data requirements, KPIs, and technical specifications (PRD and STT).
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance data products and models that serve analytical, operational, and regulatory reporting use cases.
  • Partner closely with BI developers in India to ensure seamless integration of data products with reporting and visualization layers.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI globally to implement and deliver high-quality solutions end to end.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency between Finance domain-level data products and the company's core data assets.
  • Drive data quality standards and maintain SLA commitments critical to financial reporting and regulatory stability.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders across global teams, ensuring transparency, clarity, and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor usage, adoption, and business impact of delivered data products, iterating based on feedback.
  • Contribute to the broader data modernization and innovation initiatives led by the Data Product Unit.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in data product management, data analytics, or data-driven product roles, with proven hands-on experience.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse architecture, and data pipeline design - experience with cloud platforms such as BigQuery required. (ETL Experience)
  • Solid business acumen with a good understanding of financial data domains including financial reporting, revenue recognition, balances, and regulatory data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - fluent English, capable of bridging business and technical conversations clearly and effectively across a globally distributed team.
  • Proficiency in SQL and practical data analysis - comfortable diving into data and validating results.
  • Experience working within cross-functional delivery squads with Data Engineering and BI.
  • Strong quality orientation with experience defining and enforcing data quality standards, SLA tracking, and issue management.

Must have:

  • ETL Experience- data modeling, data warehouse architecture, and data pipeline design - experience with cloud platforms such as BigQuery required
    Proficiency in SQL and practical data analysis - comfortable diving into data and validating results.
  • Work with Data & Engineering team (stakeholders) + non-technical team (officers of regulations; finance team

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in fintech, payments, or financial services environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance-driven data products.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Background in building data products at scale within multi-domain or globally distributed organizations.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
