The role partners closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to build metric frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and analytical models that support both daily decision-making and long-term optimization.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze operational data across ticketing workflows, payment journeys, onboarding/KYC review, and post-event handling to identify bottlenecks, control gaps, and service improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain unified Ops dashboards including SLA attainment, turnaround time, review conversion, and other control-effectiveness indicators; provide regular analyses to support both risk control and business decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on case handling efficiency, risk rule performance, and customer impact; provide actionable recommendations to optimize operational processes.
  • Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to define metric standards, strengthen data quality and tracking coverage, and establish consistent reporting cadence for weekly/monthly reviews.
  • Prepare various operational reports to support daily data needs, audits, and regulatory reviews.
  • Proactively monitor anomalies in operational indicators, escalate emerging issues in a timely manner, and provide root-cause hypotheses with practical remediation plans.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, operations analytics, or risk analytics, preferably in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills; hands-on experience with Python (Pandas/NumPy/visualization) is preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and building stakeholder-facing dashboards.
  • Good understanding of cross-border payment business models, transaction risk characteristics, and regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills; able to present complex findings to business and technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, ownership-driven, and comfortable working across Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Product functions.
  • Working proficiency in English (reading/writing).
