The Mission: Building the Core of Global Money Movement
We don’t just enable payments - we design the systems that make them work. The Money Movement Platform supports every Payoneer product and every transaction we move. We’re looking for a Director of Product Management who will take ownership of the platform’s most critical financial components. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, this role is deeply hands‑on and focused on the systems that move, ledger, reconcile, and settle global money flows.
What you’ll do:
- Own Core Financial Infrastructure: Lead the product direction for payment lifecycles, ledgering, treasury workflows, reconciliation, and integrations with banks, PSPs, and card networks - ensuring correctness, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive Technical & Financial Integrity: Work closely with engineering to design resilient, auditable systems; improve STP, latency, and error handling; and elevate the accuracy of financial data across the platform.
- Modernize and Scale: Identify architectural gaps, streamline legacy flows, and expand capabilities across new corridors, currencies, payment methods, and schemes.
- Align with Cross‑Functional Partners: Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Banking, Ops, and Compliance to ensure platform behavior matches regulatory, liquidity, and operational realities.
- Steer High‑Quality Execution: Maintain clear requirements, structured sequencing, and strong operational discipline - ensuring predictable delivery and high platform health.
Who you are:
- Fintech or Payments Specialist: 7–10+ years of product experience with meaningful exposure to one or more of the following:
- Payment processing and settlement flows
- Ledgering and balance systems
- Treasury / liquidity / FX workflows
- Reconciliation and financial controls
- Integrations with banks, processors, networks, or financial infrastructure APIs
- Technically Fluent: Able to partner closely with engineering on architecture, data models, APIs, scaling constraints, and failure modes.
- Execution‑Driven Operator: Comfortable working in high‑scale, regulated environments where accuracy matters and downtime carries real financial impact.
- Clear Communicator: Skilled at simplifying complex financial and technical concepts for partners across Finance, Ops, Risk, and leadership.
Advantage:
- High‑Impact Ownership: You build the financial engine behind every product and revenue stream.
- Deep Fintech Craftsmanship: Work at the intersection of infrastructure, regulation, and real money movement.
- A Platform That Matters: Your decisions influence the stability, trust, and long‑term scalability of the entire company.
- A Strong Partnership: Operate closely with a Senior Director focused on platform craft and organizational alignment—while you own the systems that make global payments work.
