Finance Manager (China)

Role summary - Payoneer is looking for a Finance Manager to join our extremely fast-growing global Fintech business in China. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and high energy environment. The position will report to the Senior Finance Manager, China.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Act as a strategic accounting business partner for Payoneerโ€™s management in China, connecting with global corporate teams;
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to initiate and monitor ad-hoc marketing campaigns and initiatives to support business growth;
  • Take a proactive approach in understanding the business through collaborating across different teams (sales/BD, legal/regulatory, compliance) to enable effective stakeholder management;
  • Partner with the Senior Finance Manager to oversee and improve corporate and operational accounting, including but not limited to accounting, AR/AP, payroll, and audit processes, policies recommendation and implementation, liaising with authorities as necessary (i.e: AMR, Tax Bureau) through understanding the business and collaborating with various teams;
  • Drive period-closing activities including preparation of reporting packages containing analysis of balance fluctuations against business activities;
  • Oversee internal and outsourced bookkeeping and payroll teams;
  • Support audits of local and parent (US) annual financial statements, partnering with external auditors and internal stakeholders;
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and execute upon them;
  • Execute and enforce internal control over financial reporting activities and maintain appropriate documentation

Who you are

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting field and an active qualified professional accountant (China CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience, and minimum of 4 years as financial controller/finance manager
  • Deep proficiency in China Accounting Standards and corporate tax regulations
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of US GAAP would be a significant advantage
  • Experience in a multinational fast growing tech organization is an advantage
