About the Role We are seeking a visionary design leader to redefine the customer experience across Payoneerโs global payment platform. As the Senior Director of Design, you will set the strategic vision for Product Design, CX Design, and Content Design, ensuring our products are intuitive, innovative, and impactful. Design Strategy & Vision

Define and drive a holistic design strategy aligned with Payoneerโs business objectives.

Set new industry standards for fintech design, driving innovation and best practices.

Champion customer-centric, data-driven design across the company.

Elevate design as a core pillar of Payoneerโs success, ensuring it plays a strategic role in business growth.
Design Leadership & Execution

Oversee the end-to-end user experience across Payoneerโs global product ecosystem.

Establish and enforce UX guidelines for consistency, scalability, and efficiency.

Lead the charge in accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring a seamless experience for a diverse, global audience.

Drive excellence in UX/UI, prototyping, user research, and design implementation at every level.
Team Development

Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class, multidisciplinary design team.

Cultivate a culture of bold creativity, innovation, and continuous growth.

Scale design capabilities while maintaining top-tier quality and impact.

Implement structured frameworks for creative direction, leadership development, and meaningful design critique.
Cross-Functional Influence

Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver seamless, impactful customer experiences.

Leverage user research and data insights to inform and validate design decisions.

Advocate for the power of design at the executive level, influencing company-wide strategic decisions.

Drive design thinking methodologies across the organization, fostering alignment and innovation.
Have you done this kind of stuff?

15+ years of experience in Product Design, UX, or CX, with a significant focus on leadership roles.
-
5+ years leading and scaling high-performing design teams.
-
Strong executive presence, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration at the highest levels.

Deep expertise in design systems, UX principles, and service design.
-
A track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact design initiatives.

Experience in B2B or fintech is preferred.
Not a must but a great advantage:

Demonstrated success navigating rapid, iterative design and development processes in a dynamic environment.

Experience leading complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Ability to articulate and balance technical constraints and design opportunities, ensuring innovative yet feasible solutions.

Proven success in managing and mentoring design leaders, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
