As Director of Sales, youโ€™ll lead the Outbound Sales function to accelerate new customer acquisition across Latin America. This includes owning our outbound playbook, SDR/BDR team development, pipeline quality, and driving execution against ambitious revenue and ICP targets. You will work cross-functionally to design and deploy structured enablement programs, build a performance-driven culture, and continuously improve prospecting capabilities.

Youโ€™ll lead both direct and outsourced SDR/BDR teams across the region while collaborating closely with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Product. Your success will be measured by new pipeline created, conversion to SQLs, quality of outreach, and ultimate revenue contribution from outbound motions.

What youโ€™ll do:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Own and scale Payoneerโ€™s outbound acquisition strategy across LATAM.
  • Define outbound tactics by segment, industry, and persona across priority markets.
  • Design and execute go-to-market plays with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Product, and Partnerships.
  • Lead a team of BDRs and SDRs (direct and outsourced), with a clear focus on quality pipeline generation.
  • Build vertical-specific outbound motions and playbooks, aligned to product fit and buying triggers.

Outbound Infrastructure & SDR Enablement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build a structured onboarding and ongoing training program, covering Cross-border finance basics, Payoneer product knowledge, ICP and persona definition, use case storytelling among others.
  • Create a centralized resource hub for scripts, templates, and recordings.
  • Run regular 1:1 coaching sessions, monitor outreach quality, and drive continuous improvement.

Performance & Pipeline Management

  • Define, track, and forecast outbound pipeline health with clear KPIs: new revenue, SQL volume/quality, conversion rates, and outbound productivity metrics.
  • Manage outreach workflows, lead scoring, SDR routing, and CRM hygiene in partnership with Revenue Operations.
  • Drive the adoption of outbound best practices and hold teams accountable to execution excellence.

Talent Development

  • Attract, hire, and retain top outbound sales talent across the region.
  • Develop future SDR leaders as coaches and growth enablers.
  • Champion a high-performance culture rooted in data, discipline, and continuous learning.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Bring market feedback from outbound conversations into our messaging, positioning, and product roadmap.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure a smooth post-sale experience.
  • Represent Payoneer in the ecosystem and build brand awareness through events and strategic partnerships.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders in Growth, Ops, Risk, and Compliance to support effective market entry and customer acquisition.
  • Ensure strong alignment across marketing campaigns, product readiness, and GTM support functions.
  • Act as a local business leader where needed, supporting ecosystem growth and visibility.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years in B2B sales or GTM leadership, with at least 5 years leading outbound teams or SDR organizations in fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • Deep experience building and scaling outbound sales programs in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, buyer journey mapping, and outbound content strategy.
  • Proven success in building training and enablement programs that improve pipeline quality and conversion.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Executive presence, cross-cultural leadership skills, and a data-driven approach to performance.
  • Experience with CRM, sales engagement platforms, and BI tools.

Not required but a plus:

  • Experience selling to SMBs and mid-market clients in cross-border trade or export services.
  • Familiarity with international payments, FX, or marketplace ecosystems.
  • Background managing distributed teams across multiple LATAM countries
