ENSURING A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO PAYONEER

When registering for eBay to manage your payments, you’ll need to open a Payoneer account or link your existing Payoneer account before you can start receiving your eBay payouts. To ensure the smoothest onboarding experience while avoiding any friction during the document verification process, if you do not have a Payoneer account, please wait and sign up for one using the link in the eBay registration process.

Get ready for your Payoneer onboarding by gathering the following documentation:

Company verification documents (one of the following):
  • Certificate of registration

Registration Requirements

When opening your Payoneer account, you will need to follow the registration requirements outlined below:

Required information:

Legal Name

If you are based in a country that does not use the English alphabet and are selling in the EU or UK, your name must be written in the English characters that correspond to your name and match the name on your VAT certificate, as per eBay’s European VAT requirements.

Company address verification

You must provide your company’s complete registered (legal) address as listed in your eBay account.

Authorized representative information

During registration, you will be asked to provide personal details of your authorized representative, including their name, date of birth and ID number. Note that you must provide the details of your authorized representative only and not those of a different employee in your company.

Bank account information

When registering, you must list the bank account belonging to either your company or your authorized representative.

Registration guidelines when you have multiple eBay accounts:

If you have multiple eBay accounts registered under the same business entity on eBay, it’s recommended to connect them to the same Payoneer account.

  • New Payoneer account with multiple eBay accounts

After signing up with Payoneer, register additional eBay accounts under the same entity by selecting the option to sign into an existing account and sign in with that account’s login credentials.

  • Existing Payoneer account with multiple eBay accounts

Make sure the same company name and authorized representative are listed on your existing Payoneer and eBay accounts. When registering for eBay to manage your payments, choose the option to sign into an existing account, and do the same for any eBay account that is registered under the same entity. Please note that if you have a Payoneer Card Only account, you will need to register for a new Payoneer account for managed payments.

If you have multiple eBay accounts under different business entities, you will need to open a corresponding Payoneer account for each business entity.

*If you inadvertently connected multiple eBay accounts to multiple Payoneer accounts, you can solve the situation on the Payments tab in Seller Hub on eBay. Simply click on the select a different Payoneer account on the bottom of the Sync your profiles page and sign in with the Payoneer account you’d like to connect.

It’s recommended to register using the link provided in the eBay sign up process. This will ensure a smooth onboarding experience while avoiding any friction during the document verification process.

I’m already a Payoneer customer. How can I connect my account to eBay?

When registering for eBay to manage your payments, you will be able to select the “existing Payoneer account” option.

After signing into your existing account, your eBay funding source will be automatically connected to Payoneer.

Existing customers might be asked to provide additional customer information to comply with eBay’s terms. In addition, we’ll be emailing you with more information about the eBay onboarding process, which applies to existing accounts as well.

Note: As part of eBay managing your payments, when onboarding to Payoneer eBay will sync your eBay entity details to match those in your Payoneer account.

I’m already a Payoneer customer. Do I need to provide additional documents to sync my eBay account?

How can I send Payoneer the documents needed to sync my eBay account?

We will notify you once we’re ready to collect your documents, which can be submitted through our platform. Please note that it might take several weeks for your documents to be approved once submitted.
