About The Job
Payoneer is looking for an experienced product management talent, with strong and comprehensive exposure in global financial service industry (e-commerce, B2B trade, cross-border payments, foreign exchange, cards, acquiring, checkout, compliance, etc.). The position holder will be directly reporting to Senior Director of Product Management in Greater China region.
The position holder is expected to:
- Lead Product Developments in Greater China product areas, including discovering and defining product roadmap, drafting out product requirements and user cases, working on product and technical solutions and rollout plans
- Own Product Commercialization by working with research teams and business teams, to create innovative product offerings and propositions, and to drive product adoptions, conversions, and business values
- Advocate Appropriate Product Governance by closely working with internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure compliant, efficient and sound delivery of product offerings and propositions
You will be responsible for:
- Explore and define product strategy, product vision, roadmap, and OKRs, for Greater China product features
- Lead product development from ideation to final delivery and to commercialization for the target customer segments
- Work closely with global product team and other global functions, managing collaborations and dependencies with multiple product domains
- Work closely with China leadership team and business team, to engage in business strategy and decision-making processes
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver product solutions that increase commercialization, compliance, and growth
- Own the prioritization work with the development team to align delivery with the overall product roadmap
- Assist with identification and exploration of strategic business enhancing opportunities
- Explore and implement production systems and tools that enhance operational and financial performance
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day product management works and conducts
- Where needed, grow and develop a talented team of product managers and relevant domain team including designers, researchers and developers
The candidate will have a:
- Strong Track Record – The candidate will have a strong successful track record of delivering new products, and a proven background in product management domains specialized in financial service industry. The candidate will also have strong experience in project management, knowing technical and engineering details. The candidate will have solid understanding of China local market practices, such as financial regulatory frameworks, industry ecosystems, and critical fintech infrastructures.
- Strategic Focus – The candidate will be able to strategize product and proposition development for Greater China region catering for prioritized business areas such as cross-border e-commerce settlement, China regulatory requirements, critical partnership propositions and online acquiring business.
- Problem Solving – The candidate will have strong problem-solving capabilities and strong passion on enhancing customer experience. The candidate has to thrive in an environment of uncertainty and ambiguity when entering a new market / business with many dynamic and moving parts. The candidate will have the ability to navigate among uncertainties and locate the right direction and solution
- Collaborative – The candidate will work closely with account management, product development, marketing, etc., “land and expand” his / her go-to-market strategy.
- Extremely Data Centric – The candidate will provide timely, accurate, and useful analyses concerning the status of the new business verticals, including progress against +
The candidate should come prepared with:
- 10+ years of relevant financial service and product management experience. Project management and engineering background would be a plus
- BA in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
- Ability to make decisions by considering both the long-term product vision and short-term growth requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep understanding of product management, including the ability to connect business and product strategy, and understanding user journey and behaviors to quantify right product design and strategy
- Strong data analytical skills, analytical thinking, detail oriented, tech oriented
- Experienced in product management tools, e.g. UI Design tools, Data tools
